The ATCORE Group announces Nigel Beighton as new Group CIO

The market-leading travel technology group, ATCORE, has today announced that Nigel Beighton has joined the group as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Nigel’s appointment will help accelerate the strategic growth plan of the ATCORE Group, which is focused on product enhancement and a targeted acquisition strategy to drive international expansion.

Nigel is a high profile, successful technology leader with extensive experience of driving the innovation agenda within fast-growing B2B businesses spanning media, technology and travel. Nigel’s previous roles include Lastminute.com (CTO), Capgemini (Head of Technology Consulting), Symantec (CTO), Rackspace (CTO) and Addison Lee (CTO).

At ATCORE, Nigel will further enhance the technology leadership and capability of the organisation. Specifically he will focus on reinforcing the awareness and positioning of ATCORE as a leading travel technology company and help diversify ATCORE via product differentiation and potential acquisitions.
